Rossington Architecture

Open spaces with clean lines and a simple palette of materials complement the very “green” transformation of this 1960’s rancher. The original house’s kitchen was closed off from the rest of the house- this transformation opened up the kitchen to the rest of the house, making the it the real hub of the home. Environmental considerations included: hydronic radiant heating; cork floors; sustainable harvesting hardwoods; paperstone counters; low flow faucets; low voc paints; fluorescent and LED lighting; sealing and insulating the entire house.
